The premiere edition of the Journal of Leadership in Sport and Management represents a pioneering effort to comprehensively examine leadership dynamics within the sports sector. In shaping this inaugural issue, we intentionally sought perspectives from a diverse array of experts, spanning the realms of management, coaching, and former athletes. By extending invitations to these seasoned professionals, we aimed to capture a holistic understanding of leadership in sports.
